Many people who add a shed to their backyard tend to have some of the same questions and problems arise. I know for me it was keeping my shed organized and utilizing all the space I had in their effectively. Here are some tips me and other backyard shed owners have for you:
Shelving
Depending on what you are using your shed for, you can utilize multiple floor to ceiling shelves to use for storing and organizing small to medium things like seed packets for a garden shed or organize nails and screws for a tool shed. You can also use deeper, large shelving for a work bench or for storage. See the pictures below. Bonus tip: if you can't include shelves or don't want to install anything permanent, you can utilize old book shelves so that you can move things around as your life and needs change.

Peg Board
Installing a pegboard into your storage shed allows you to hang up any tools, garden equipment, or anything else you need to hang. The best part of using a pegboard is that you can hang things of any size rather than using just hooks on the wall, you have to pre-plan where your things will go. It will also be harder to rearrange things if needed when only using hooks. A peg board allows you to move things as you go from a newbie in your hobby to an expert.

Utilize Shed Doors
Another tip for utilizing all the space in your storage shed is using the doors! Instead of putting things like your outdoor broom, rake, and shovel in the corner of your shed, you should hang them up on your door to give your self a little more space on the inside of your shed. You can also install small racks to store things like bug repellent, weed spray, etc. I even had a friend use her shed doors to store all of her wreaths that she could just swap out when needed.
