What can I expect the process of buying a shed to look like?

Many people are making the jump to include a storage shed in their backyard. Since 2020 the demand for these custom sheds has risen. From a home office to a storage shed, the possibilities are endless for what you can do with your storage shed, but the steps you will take are essentially the same. Here is what you can expect when buying a shed in Sycamore with ShedCrafters:

1. Decide what shed is best for you!

   The first thing you will need to do is reference your county or cities regulations for backyard structures. After you know if you have any limitations based on city wide regulations, consider what size shed you need. Check out our sizing guide here. 2. The next step is to go to our 3D Shed Configurator and start building a prototype of your storage shed!

   If you click here, you can customize your shed exactly how you'd like it and get an idea of what it will look like in your backyard. On this step you can consider things like, how many windows are needed, how many doors should we have, do we need a ramp? 3. Reach out to ShedCrafters of Sycamore!

   You can call, email, or book online to move on to the next step. Here we will finalize your designs, sign all the paperwork, and answer any other questions you have.

4. Complete the build!

   On the day you schedule your build, our highly skilled team will get things started and build your shed onsite. The build should take 1-2 days to complete and we will make sure you are more than satisfied with every aspect before we leave.
